Yahoo! the salon remodel is almost complete

The salon is almost complete, the only thing left to finish is the bathroom,  hopefully the next couple of days (fingers crossed). I would like to thank all of you for putting up with the construction mess.  I was up to my eyeballs in dust and clutter, so thanks for your patience.  I think it turned out great, the setup is much improved and accommodating.  I love the extra room it now provides. 

I would like to take this time to thank all of those who helped out with remodel.  My husband provided numerous hours of  back breaking work and never complained once.  He did a great job and I appreciate his patience with me ( I was a bear at times).  I would also like to thank my dad for his help and for offering up his talents for the cause.  He constructed the hair stations that exceeded my expectations.  Last of all I would like to thank my strapping brother-in-laws for donated time to the cause as well.  Thanks to everyone who helped out in one way or the other to transform the new look of the salon. Please come check it out, I know you will enjoy the new salon experience.

As many of you know in addition to the remodeled salon I have brought in an apprentice to help me out.  Mindy is getting close to achieving enough hours to start accepting clients.  She is extremely artistic and talented. She is a great addition to the salon and will be needing lots of practice heads to complete her training.  She is way ahead of the curve and will be able to provide professional cuts at beauty college prices.  So quite sending your kids and husbands to dollar cuts and take advantage of this opportunity by making appointments for them.  She is not yet ready, so I will let you know when she is ready.

What have I been up to, and what is to come?... if anyone cares (: !

   Hello my friends I hope that by now you have gotten used to using this new website, it has made my life so much easier! I hope that you are loving the fact that you don't have to wait on me anymore to call you back! If you need to call me please do I will get back to you faster now because I don't have as many phone calls!!

   As for me I am studying to take my state board to become a certified instructor because I am going to apprentice a friend. We are going to be doing some remodeling in the salon to make room for her also. So please bare with us this summer as we do this!

  Since it is summer I am going to be workinga few more hours I am available during the day on Tues and Fri now also!

  Last but not least I became certified in eyelash extensions and I am now taking clients. Since I am still learning I am doing them for less so I can get more practice. Most salons charge a minimum of $125.00 for a full set. I am going to charge $75.00 with a free 1-2 week touch up. So please start booking they are so great just think how nice it would be to go camping and swimming and not worry about Mascara!
